Terms of Service
The basic rules for using ACA courses, study tools, community features, memberships, and teacher resources operated by ACA Education Group S.R.L.

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the ACA website at https://www.aca-chinese.com, including courses, study tools, memberships, community features, and teacher resources.
By creating an account, placing an order, or using ACA services, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.
2. Personal data protection
ACA Education Group S.R.L. is responsible for the personal data processed through ACA.
ACA processes only the data needed to operate accounts, learning progress, orders and payment review, customer support, and platform security: for example email address, display name, order details, payment status, and technical logs.
Bank-card data (card number, expiry date, CVV) is entered only on the secure maib payment page. ACA does not receive or store full card numbers; it receives only the transaction status, a masked card number, and the bank transaction identifiers.
We do not sell learner personal information. Data is shared only with service providers needed to run the platform (hosting, database, email, payment processing) and when required by law.
You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data by writing to aca8451@gmail.com.
3. Privacy Policy
Details about what information ACA collects, how it is used, and which service providers support the platform are described in the Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy is available at /privacy-policy and forms part of these Terms by reference.
4. Order placement and payment options
To place an order, sign in, open the payment-options page for the selected membership, study-card bundle, or live class, and check the product name, amount, currency (USD), and the account email that will receive access.
Before paying by card you must tick the checkbox confirming that you accept these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy.
Payment methods: (a) bank card (Visa, Mastercard) via maib e-commerce, when card payment is shown on the payment-options page — you are redirected to the secure maib payment page to enter card details and return to ACA after the payment; (b) USD bank transfer to ACA Education Group S.R.L.; (c) other payment links shown on the payment-options page.
Each order creates a payment record with an order number. After a successful card payment you see a confirmation page with the order number, product, amount, currency, date and time, and the maib transaction ID, and a confirmation email is sent to your account email.
Prices are shown in USD. Your bank may apply its own fees or currency conversion.
All payments are one-time payments: annual memberships (49, 119, 169 or 229 USD for 12 months of access), study-card bundles (from 2.90 USD) and live-class tickets are charged once. There are no subscriptions, recurring payments, or automatic renewals; to continue after the 12-month term you place a new order.
Card payments are processed on the secure maib payment page over HTTPS. Your card-issuing bank may ask you to confirm the payment with 3-D Secure authentication (Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check).
5. Delivery conditions
ACA products are digital educational services delivered online. There is no physical shipment and no delivery fee.
Delivery means enabling access on your ACA account (the email used for the order) to the purchased membership levels, study-card bundle, live class, or teacher resources.
Access is enabled after the payment is confirmed: for card payments, after maib reports the payment as successful; for bank transfers, after the funds arrive. An ACA administrator then reviews the order and enables access; ACA aims to complete this within one business day. You will see the access in the member area.
Annual memberships run for 12 months from the date access is enabled. Study-card bundles give standalone access to the selected bundle. Live-class tickets give access to the selected session.
If access has not been enabled within two business days after payment, contact aca8451@gmail.com with your order number.
Downloadable files (study cards, PDFs, audio packs, teacher resources) are considered delivered once downloaded or exported.
Technical requirements: an internet connection and a current version of a modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) on a computer, tablet or smartphone, with audio playback for listening exercises. No software installation is required; downloadable PDF files open in any PDF reader.
6. Return / refund and cancellation policy
Annual memberships include a 7-day satisfaction refund window under the conditions described in the Refund Policy.
Downloadable digital materials and teacher classroom resources may be non-refundable or only partially refundable after download.

To cancel an order or request a refund, email aca8451@gmail.com with the account email, order number, payment date, product, and reason.
Approved refunds for card payments are returned through maib to the same card used for the payment; the time until the funds appear depends on the card-issuing bank. Bank-transfer refunds are returned by bank transfer.

8. Use of the platform
ACA provides online Chinese learning content, courseware, study cards, learning tools, live-class access, teacher assets, and community features. You agree to use the platform for lawful learning and teaching purposes.
You are responsible for keeping your login access secure and for activity under your account.
9. Membership and access
Some courses, study cards, live rooms, downloads, and teacher resources may require a paid membership, manual grant, or other entitlement. Access may expire, be limited by plan, or be revoked for misuse.
ACA may update course availability, learning tools, pricing, and membership benefits as the platform develops.
10. Intellectual property
ACA courseware, study cards, text, images, audio, lesson structures, downloads, and platform materials are owned by ACA or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
You may use the materials for personal learning or authorized teaching use. You may not resell, mass redistribute, scrape, copy into another product, or remove attribution without permission.
11. Community conduct
You must not post spam, harassment, illegal content, adult content, hate, threats, private information, advertising, political provocation, scams, or content unrelated to learning Chinese.
ACA may hide, delete, review, restrict, mute, or ban accounts that violate these terms or the Community Guidelines.
12. No guaranteed results
ACA aims to support structured Chinese learning, but language progress depends on personal effort, time, practice quality, and learning background. ACA does not guarantee a specific exam score or result.
