I have been studying in China for more than half a year, and I am particularly interested in the festival culture here. Every festival, there are activities held on every street in the city, which is very lively. People from all over the world gather together to experience different cultures.

My daily life is very regular: in addition to reading news online, I also take time to do Chinese exercises and copy sentences every day. Teachers often say that you should be careful when doing questions and pay attention to grammar. Every assignment, except for the third question which is the most difficult, I can complete all the other assignments successfully. By persisting day by day, my Chinese level has improved a lot. Thinking of these improvements, I feel very happy.

In my free time, besides studying, I often hang out with Chinese friends. When the weather is nice, we ride bikes to climb mountains and bring bread and bananas; when it’s a festival, we walk on the streets, where we can learn about local customs and cultures from around the world.

From not being able to speak Chinese well and being reserved when I first arrived, to now being able to chat and surf the Internet easily, I am growing up every day while studying abroad, and my ordinary days have become rich and fulfilling.
