A Ming: I want to go to the library this weekend and borrow a Chinese dictionary for review.
小华：我也要去。不过你上个月借的书还在包里，得先还了才能借新的。
xiǎo huá ： wǒ yě yào qù 。 bú guò nǐ shàng gè yuè jiè de shū hái zài bāo lǐ ， dé xiān hái le cái néng jiè xīn de 。
Xiaohua: I want to go too. But the books you borrowed last month are still in your bag and you have to return them before you can borrow new ones.
阿明：幸好你提醒，我差点儿忘了。我现在就把书准备好，一会儿还给老师。
ā míng ： xìng hǎo nǐ tí xǐng ， wǒ chà diǎn ér wàng le 。 wǒ xiàn zài jiù bǎ shū zhǔn bèi hǎo ， yí huì er hái gěi lǎo shī 。
A Ming: Fortunately you reminded me, I almost forgot. I will prepare the book now and return it to the teacher later.
小华：出门别把借书证忘在桌上，没有证借不了书。
xiǎo huá ： chū mén bié bǎ jiè shū zhèng wàng zài zhuō shàng ， méi yǒu zhèng jiè bù liǎo shū 。
Xiaohua: Don’t forget your library card on the table when you go out. You can’t borrow books without it.
阿明：放心，我都放好了。办完借还，我们坐地铁去超市买点水果。
ā míng ： fàng xīn ， wǒ dōu fàng hǎo le 。 bàn wán jiè hái ， wǒ men zuò dì tiě qù chāo shì mǎi diǎn shuǐ guǒ 。
A Ming: Don’t worry, I’ve put everything away. After finishing the loan and return, we took the subway to the supermarket to buy some fruit.
小华：好啊，买完东西，我们骑车去爬山，好好过个周末。
xiǎo huá ： hǎo a ， mǎi wán dōng xī ， wǒ men qí chē qù pá shān ， hǎo hǎo guò gè zhōu mò 。
Xiaohua: Okay, after shopping, let’s go hiking in the mountains by bike and have a good weekend.

Xiao Zhang: Manager Wang, there will be a meeting at around two o'clock in the afternoon. I have already told everyone.
王经理：辛苦了。会议大概开两个小时，结束后麻烦你把灯和空调都关好。
wáng jīng lǐ ： xīn kǔ le 。 huì yì dà gài kāi liǎng gè xiǎo shí ， jié shù hòu má fán nǐ bǎ dēng hé kōng tiáo dōu guān hǎo 。
Manager Wang: Thank you for your hard work. The meeting will last about two hours. Please turn off the lights and air conditioner after it is over.
小张：没问题，我每天走最晚，一定关好。
xiǎo zhāng ： méi wèn tí ， wǒ měi tiān zǒu zuì wǎn ， yí dìng guān hǎo 。
Xiao Zhang: No problem. I leave late every day, so I must close it properly.
王经理：离开前别把办公室钥匙忘在桌上，丢了很麻烦。
wáng jīng lǐ ： lí kāi qián bié bǎ bàn gōng shì yào shi wàng zài zhuō shàng ， diū le hěn má fán 。
Manager Wang: Don’t forget your office key on the table before leaving. It’s very troublesome if you lose it.

周三这一天很充实。下午两点左右，银行开全体员工会议，大家都来了。会议开了两个小时左右，结束时天已经黑了。我按老师说的，把办公室的灯和空调都关好，检查好设备才出门。

Wednesday was a fulfilling day. At around two o'clock in the afternoon, the bank held an all-staff meeting, and everyone came. The meeting lasted for about two hours, and it was already dark when it ended. I followed the teacher's instructions, turned off the lights and air conditioner in the office, and checked the equipment before going out.
之后我坐地铁去市中心图书馆，把上个月借的中文词典还了。出门前朋友提醒了我，不然我差点儿把借书证忘在家里。还完书，我没马上回家，和朋友约在图书馆旁边的中餐馆吃饭。服务员拿来两双筷子、三瓶冰啤酒，桌上还有我们买的新鲜水果。

After that, I took the subway to the city center library and returned the Chinese dictionary I borrowed last month. My friend reminded me before I went out, otherwise I would have almost forgotten my library card at home. After returning the books, I didn't go home immediately. I made an appointment with my friends to have dinner at a Chinese restaurant next to the library. The waiter brought two pairs of chopsticks, three bottles of cold beer, and the fresh fruits we bought on the table.
大家一边聊天一边喝酒，有人喝了一大口，屋里都是笑声。聚会九点左右结束，我们各自坐地铁回家。走在路上，我想：开会、还书、和朋友吃饭，虽然是平常的一天，但过得很开心。周末我们还打算骑车去爬山，准备好面包和地图，好好放松一下。

Walking on the road, I thought: I had meetings, returned books, and had dinner with friends. Although it was an ordinary day, I had a great time. We also plan to go mountain climbing by bike on the weekend, so prepare bread and maps to relax.
