Welcome to our dance class! Where are you from? Where do you work?

谢谢老师！我从北京来，在一家公司上班。我希望能学好跳舞，从第一天起就认真练习！
Xièxiè lǎoshī! Wǒ cóng Běijīng lái, zài yī jiā gōngsī shàngbān. Wǒ xīwàng néng xuéhǎo tiàowǔ, cóng dì yī tiān qǐ jiù rènzhēn liànxí!
Thank you, teacher! I'm from Beijing and work at a company. I hope to learn dancing well — practising seriously from the very first day!

Zhè cì kǎoshì, wǒ cóng dì yī tí zuò dào dì shí tí dōu zuò wán le, dàn wǒ xīwàng zìjǐ méi zuò cuò.
In this exam, I finished all the questions from the first to the tenth, but I hope I didn't get any wrong.

我做完了以后，发现第三题做错了！我当时没听懂老师说的问题，所以就猜了。
Wǒ zuò wán le yǐhòu, fāxiàn dì sān tí zuò cuò le! Wǒ dāngshí méi tīngdǒng lǎoshī shuō de wèntí, suǒyǐ jiù cāi le.
After I finished, I found the third question was wrong! I didn't understand the question the teacher said at the time, so I just guessed.

小芳从小希望学好跳舞，她从第一次上课起就非常认真，老师和同学们都热烈地欢迎她。
Xiǎo Fāng cóng xiǎo xīwàng xuéhǎo tiàowǔ, tā cóng dì yī cì shàngkè qǐ jiù fēicháng rènzhēn, lǎoshī hé tóngxuémen dōu rèliè de huānyíng tā.
Xiao Fang has hoped to learn dancing well since she was young. She was very serious from her very first lesson, and teachers and classmates all welcomed her warmly.

但是，从第一节课到第三节课，小芳发现有很多动作她看了没看懂，而且有几个动作做错了。
Dànshì, cóng dì yī jié kè dào dì sān jié kè, Xiǎo Fāng fāxiàn yǒu hěn duō dòngzuò tā kàn le méi kàndǒng, érqiě yǒu jǐ gè dòngzuò zuò cuò le.
However, from the first lesson to the third, Xiao Fang found many moves that she watched but didn't understand, and she did several moves wrong.

小芳没有放弃，她在上班后每天练习，把做错的动作一个个纠正，把没听懂的问题再请老师讲一遍。
Xiǎo Fāng méiyǒu fàngqì, tā zài shàngbān hòu měitiān liànxí, bǎ zuò cuò de dòngzuò yī gè gè jiūzhèng, bǎ méi tīngdǒng de wèntí zài qǐng lǎoshī jiǎng yī biàn.
Xiao Fang didn't give up. After work, she practised every day, corrected each wrong move one by one, and asked the teacher to explain again the questions she hadn't understood.

老师给了小芳一套练习题，要她从第一题做到最后一题，做完以后把做错的找出来，再做一遍。
Lǎoshī gěi le Xiǎo Fāng yī tào liànxí tí, yào tā cóng dì yī tí zuò dào zuìhòu yī tí, zuò wán yǐhòu bǎ zuò cuò de zhǎo chūlái, zài zuò yī biàn.
The teacher gave Xiao Fang a set of practice questions, asking her to do them from the first to the last, and after finishing, find the ones she got wrong and do them again.

经过三个月的努力，小芳把所有的动作都做完了，而且做懂了，从没有做错过，成了班上第一名的学生。
Jīngguò sān gè yuè de nǔlì, Xiǎo Fāng bǎ suǒyǒu de dòngzuò dōu zuò wán le, érqiě zuòdǒng le, cóng méiyǒu zuò cuò guò, chéng le bān shàng dì yī míng de xuésheng.
After three months of hard work, Xiao Fang completed all the moves and understood them; never got any wrong, and became the top student in the class.

老师说："小芳从第一天到今天，做到了别人做不到的事！欢迎她留在班里，希望她继续努力，帮助上班后还想学跳舞的朋友们！"
Lǎoshī shuō: "Xiǎo Fāng cóng dì yī tiān dào jīntiān, zuò dào le biérén zuò bu dào de shì! Huānyíng tā liú zài bān lǐ, xīwàng tā jìxù nǔlì, bāngzhù shàngbān hòu hái xiǎng xué tiàowǔ de péngyǒumen!"
The teacher said: "From her first day to today, Xiao Fang has achieved what others couldn't! Welcome her to stay in the class; I hope she keeps working hard and helps friends who still want to learn dancing after work!"
