今天，小美去一家服装店买衣服，她让服务员告诉她有没有白色和黑色的外套，服务员说有，叫她等一等。
Jīntiān, Xiǎo Měi qù yī jiā fúzhuāngdiàn mǎi yīfu, tā ràng fúwùyuán gàosù tā yǒu méiyǒu báisè hé hēisè de wàitào, fúwùyuán shuō yǒu, jiào tā děng yī děng.
Today, Xiao Mei went to a clothing store. She asked the attendant to tell her if there were white and black coats. The attendant said yes, and asked her to wait a moment.

服务员找了找，拿来一件白色和一件黑色的，告诉小美这两件都很新，但黑色的比白色的贵一点儿。
Fúwùyuán zhǎo le zhǎo, ná lái yī jiàn báisè hé yī jiàn hēisè de, gàosù Xiǎo Měi zhè liǎng jiàn dōu hěn xīn, dàn hēisè de bǐ báisè de guì yīdiǎnr.
The attendant looked around and brought out one white and one black coat, telling Xiao Mei both were brand new but the black one was a little more expensive.

小美试了试黑色的，感觉不错，但觉得有点儿太贵了，她告诉服务员这件事情，想看看能不能再便宜一点儿。

Xiao Mei tried on the black one and felt it was nice, but found it a bit too expensive. She told the attendant this and wanted to see if it could be a bit cheaper.

The attendant had the boss come to have a look. The boss said they could drop the price by fifty yuan, and Xiao Mei thought it over and told the attendant she had decided to buy the black one.

买好衣服以后，小美再去了餐厅吃饭，她叫服务员过来，告诉他她想再点一个菜，服务员叫她等一下，说菜单找不到了。

After buying the clothes, Xiao Mei went to a restaurant to eat. She called the waiter over and told him she wanted to order another dish, but the waiter asked her to wait — saying the menu couldn't be found.

小美笑着说："有一件事情——今天买了件黑色的衣服，比白色的贵，但还是很高兴！再贵也值得！"
Xiǎo Měi xiàozhe shuō: "Yǒu yī jiàn shìqíng — jīntiān mǎi le jiàn hēisè de yīfu, bǐ báisè de guì, dàn háishì hěn gāoxìng! Zài guì yě zhídé!"
Xiao Mei smiled and said: "There's one thing — today I bought a black piece of clothing, more expensive than the white one, but still very happy! No matter how expensive, it was worth it!"
