周末，小云的哥哥正在玩手机，小云帮助妈妈准备晚饭，她对哥哥说："别玩了，来帮助我们！"
Zhōumò, Xiǎo Yún de gēge zhèngzài wán shǒujī, Xiǎo Yún bāngzhù māma zhǔnbèi wǎnfàn, tā duì gēge shuō: "Bié wán le, lái bāngzhù wǒmen!"
On the weekend, Xiao Yun's older brother was playing on his phone. Xiao Yun was helping mum prepare dinner and said to her brother: "Stop playing and come help us!"

妈妈对哥哥说不要总是看手机了，这对眼睛不好，让他去洗西瓜和鸡蛋。
Māma duì gēge shuō bùyào zǒngshì kàn shǒujī le, zhè duì yǎnjīng bù hǎo, ràng tā qù xǐ xīguā hé jīdàn.
Mum told the older brother not to always be looking at his phone — it's not good for the eyes — and asked him to go wash the watermelon and eggs.

哥哥把手机放下了，开始洗鸡蛋，他正在洗的时候，小云也过来帮助他切西瓜。

The older brother put down his phone and started washing the eggs. While he was washing, Xiao Yun also came over to help him cut the watermelon.

Wǎnfàn shí, gēge duì Xiǎo Yún shuō: "Xièxiè nǐ jiào wǒ fàng xià shǒujī, bāngzhù māma zuòfàn bǐ wán shǒujī gèng yǒu yìyì!"
At dinner, the older brother said to Xiao Yun: "Thank you for making me put down my phone — helping mum cook is much more meaningful than playing on my phone!"

从那以后，哥哥别再在家里乱玩手机了，他每天帮助妈妈洗鸡蛋、切西瓜，妈妈对他的改变非常欢迎和高兴。
Cóng nà yǐhòu, gēge bié zài zài jiālǐ luàn wán shǒujī le, tā měitiān bāngzhù māma xǐ jīdàn, qiē xīguā, māma duì tā de gǎibiàn fēicháng huānyíng hé gāoxìng.
From then on, the older brother no longer played randomly on his phone at home. Every day he helped mum wash eggs and cut watermelon. Mum greatly welcomed and was happy about his change.
