大卫觉得中文比较难，学了半年还是不容易。小华鼓励他说，中文越学越有意思，让他先把语法学好，最后会发现越来越简单。小华还说大卫的中文跟以前一样，越来越好了。她用了"越A越B"和"A跟B一样"两个语法结构。

David found Chinese relatively difficult — still not easy after half a year. Xiahua encouraged him, saying the more you study Chinese, the more interesting it gets. She told him to master grammar first and he'd find it easier and easier in the end. She also said his Chinese was just like before — getting better and better. She used both the "越A越B" and "A跟B一样" grammar structures.

阿明很担心明天的考试，觉得自己准备得不够好。小红告诉他放心，说他准备得跟她一样认真，一定没问题。小红先帮他复习语法，让他不要让担心的心情影响了发挥。"你越说我越放心"是"越A越B"结构，意思是小红说得越多，阿明就越放心，信心越来越强。

Aming was very worried about tomorrow's exam, feeling he hadn't prepared well enough. Xiaohong told him not to worry, saying he had prepared just as seriously as she had and it would definitely be fine. She helped him review grammar first and told him not to let his worries affect his performance. "The more you talk, the more relieved I feel" uses the 越A越B structure — the more Xiaohong spoke, the more relieved Aming felt, growing more and more confident.

他们要去参加一个中国文化活动，李明想对中国文化有更多了解。活动地点在学校和银行的中间，比较方便。李明觉得参加这样的活动对学中文的影响很大，越来越觉得有意义。他们最后决定下午两点出发。

They were going to attend a Chinese cultural event — Liming wanted to gain a better understanding of Chinese culture. The venue was between the school and the bank, fairly convenient. Liming felt that attending such events had a big influence on learning Chinese and found it increasingly meaningful. They finally decided to set off at 2pm.

比赛经历

In the narrative, how did the narrator feel before the competition? Why did they feel relieved later? What were the competition questions the same as?

Before the competition, the narrator was very worried because they felt their Chinese was relatively poor. Later, good friend Xiahua helped them review and said their Chinese was as good as hers, telling them not to worry. The more Xiahua talked, the more relieved the narrator felt — worries grew less and less. The competition questions were the same as the practice ones, so confidence grew more and more. In the end, the narrator reflected that the more you study Chinese, the more interesting it gets.

⚠️ 否定式注意：我的中文跟老师的不一样好（"不"在"一样"前面，不能说"不跟"！）
