Daming: Which floor should we go to? There are too many people in the elevator, so we have to wait a while.
阿强：去八层咖啡厅，我先去趟洗手间，马上回来。

Daming: Okay, I'll wait for you at the elevator entrance. This mall is too noisy and I'm not happy with it.

Aqiang: When do you plan to go to the zoo to see pandas? We can go whenever you want.
大明：就明天上午吧。说实话，我有点儿害怕大型野生动物。
dà míng ： jiù míng tiān shàng wǔ ba 。 shuō shí huà ， wǒ yǒu diǎn er hài pà dà xíng yě shēng dòng wù 。
Daming: Just tomorrow morning. To be honest, I'm a little scared of large wild animals.
阿强：别怕，熊猫很温顺，喜欢安静，不会伤人。
ā qiáng ： bié pà ， xióng māo hěn wēn shùn ， xǐ huan ān jìng ， bú huì shāng rén 。
Aqiang: Don’t be afraid. Pandas are very docile, like to be quiet, and will not hurt anyone.

老张：好几年没见，城市变化太大，我几乎认不出老街了。

Lao Zhang: I haven’t seen you in several years. The city has changed so much that I can hardly recognize the old streets.
老李：人老了，身体不如以前，现在才知道健康最重要。
lǎo lǐ ： rén lǎo le ， shēn tǐ bù rú yǐ qián ， xiàn zài cái zhī dào jiàn kāng zuì zhòng yào 。
Lao Li: As people get older, their health is not as good as before. Only now do we realize that health is the most important thing.
老张：我最近又开始晨练，每天去公园跑步，精神好多了。
lǎo zhāng ： wǒ zuì jìn yòu kāi shǐ chén liàn ， měi tiān qù gōng yuán pǎo bù ， jīng shén hǎo duō le 。
Lao Zhang: I recently started exercising again in the morning and go running in the park every day. I feel much better.
老李：太好了，以后我们怎么方便就怎么见面，不用特意安排。
lǎo lǐ ： tài hǎo le ， yǐ hòu wǒ men zěn me fāng biàn jiù zěn me jiàn miàn ， bú yòng tè yì ān pái 。
Lao Li: That’s great. From now on we can meet whenever it’s convenient, no need to make special arrangements.

周末我和老友约在商场碰面，坐电梯到八楼安静的咖啡厅。店里环境不错，我们都很满意，点了两杯冰可乐，听着音乐聊天。老友离开这座城市多年，这次回来，发现城市变化很大，高楼盖起来了，老街也变了，他几乎认不出来。

Over the weekend, I made an appointment with an old friend to meet in a shopping mall and took the elevator to the quiet cafe on the eighth floor. The environment in the store was good, and we were very satisfied. We ordered two iced Cokes and listened to the music and chatted. An old friend has been away from this city for many years. When he came back this time, he found that the city had changed a lot. High-rise buildings had been built and the old streets had also changed. He could hardly recognize it.
他说自己年纪大了，越来越明白健康最重要，所以又开始每天锻炼，天气好就去公园跑步。我们说好以后见面不用太正式，怎么方便就怎么见，想去哪儿就去哪儿。

He said that as he got older, he understood more and more that health was the most important thing, so he started exercising every day again and went for a run in the park when the weather was nice. We agreed that we wouldn’t need to be too formal when we meet in the future, we could meet whenever it was convenient, and we could go wherever we wanted.

We had a great time chatting and we planned to go to the zoo to see pandas the next day. Although I am a little afraid of big animals, pandas are very docile, so there is no need to be afraid. Before we left, he went to the bathroom and I waited for him at the elevator entrance. Under the setting sun, I slowly walked home carrying fresh fruits, thinking about tomorrow's trip, and looking forward to it. A simple meeting brought a full sense of happiness.
