Mum, the singing class on the right is much cheaper than the one on the left — all the children can register!

Right, the girl who speaks so pleasantly might be surnamed Zhang. She sings much better than the boy on the right.

Zhège bān qùnián méiyǒu nán háizi, jīnnián nán nǚ háizi dōu yǒu, bǐ qùnián rènào duō le. Kěnéng shì yīnwèi piányí le yīxiē.
This class had no boys last year; this year there are both boys and girls — much livelier than last year. Maybe it's because it got a bit cheaper.

Let's have our child register too! This class is two hundred yuan cheaper than that one, and the teacher on the right side teaches pretty well too.

Yes, this year is a little cheaper than last year. Last year the fees were expensive, so there were fewer boys and girls. This year there are many more children!

张老师去年开了一个唱歌班，去年的学费比今年贵，所以孩子不多，男孩子更少，只有两个。
Zhāng lǎoshī qùnián kāi le yī gè chànggē bān, qùnián de xuéfèi bǐ jīnnián guì, suǒyǐ háizi bù duō, nán háizi gèng shǎo, zhǐyǒu liǎng gè.
Teacher Zhang opened a singing class last year. Last year's fees were more expensive than this year's, so there weren't many children — boys were even fewer, only two.

今年，张老师把学费降低了，比去年便宜了两百块，所以来报名的男女孩子都多了很多。
Jīnnián, Zhāng lǎoshī bǎ xuéfèi jiàngdī le, bǐ qùnián piányí le liǎng bǎi kuài, suǒyǐ lái bàomíng de nán nǚ háizi dōu duō le hěn duō.
This year, Teacher Zhang lowered the fees — two hundred yuan cheaper than last year — so many more boys and girls came to register.

The girl who sings best might be surnamed Zhang, because Teacher Zhang treats her especially well — they might be relatives.

The boy who came since last year is surnamed Li; he talks very fast. His singing is not as good as the girl's, but a little better than the other newly arrived children.
